ORDINANCE NO. 070400

Estimating revenue in the amount of $25,000.00 in the Health Levy Fund; appropriating it to the Air Quality account of the Health Levy Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.

WHEREAS, the City remains committed to protecting the air quality and providing a safe environment for the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, this ordinance will provide funding to the Air Quality Program in expectation of fees collected for the reimbursement of expenditures related to the removal of asbestos; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the Health Levy Fund is estimated in the following amount:

07-2330-500000-465661 Air Quality $25,000.00

Section 2. That the sum of $25,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Health Levy Fund to the following account:

07-2330-502230-B Air Quality Control $25,000.00

Section 3. That the Director of Health is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 07-2330-502230.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
