ORDINANCE NO. 080351

 

Rezoning an area of approximately .23 acres generally located at 2136 and 2142 Madison Avenue from Districts R-2b and R-4 to Districts R-1b and R-2b. (13450-P-2)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0800, rezoning an area of approximately .23 acres generally located at 2136 and 2142 Madison Avenue from Districts R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) and R-4 (Low Apartments) to Districts R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) and R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0800. That an area legally described as:

 

That Lot 20, Block 1, Thayers Addition (2136 Madison Avenue) is hereby rezoned from District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings); and

 

That Lots 21 and 22, Block 1, Thayers Addition (2142 Madison Avenue) are hereby rezoned from Districts R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) and R-4 (Low Apartments) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings);

 

all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri,

 

all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0800, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
