RESOLUTION NO. 110635

 

Honoring Wes Minder as a Rich Noll Pacesetter for August 2011.

 

WHEREAS, the Rich Noll Pacesetter Award has been established to honor City employees who provide excellent service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri; and

 

WHEREAS, the Rich Noll Pacesetter Award is named after Rich Noll, who worked for the City of Kansas City in a variety of capacities over his 26 year career and always exemplified the best attributes of City government in those capacities including customer service, responsiveness, timeliness and teamwork; and

 

WHEREAS, Wes Minder has displayed the highest level of customer service including spending extra hours attending neighborhood meetings to answer neighborhood concerns and sending timely and frequent communication to residents in areas affected by the construction projects he is responsible for; and

 

WHEREAS, Wes Minder continues to display creative thinking and employ innovative methods to complete projects, often ahead of schedule and under budget; and

 

WHEREAS, Wes Minder has been nominated for  the Rich Noll Pacesetter Award based on these attributes as he displayed them on projects at N.E. Barry Road and I-29 and on N.E. Waukomis; NOW, THERFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

That the Mayor and Council hereby recognize Wes Minder as a Rich Noll Pacesetter for the month of August 2011; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be presented to Wes Minder with the thanks of the Mayor and Council for his dedication and service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri.
