ORDINANCE NO. 980527

Estimating revenue in the Police Grants Fund in the amount of $37,000.00; appropriating it to the Crime Lab Upgrade Program; and recognizing an emergency.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the Police Grants Fund is estimated in the following additional amount:

99-239-021-8012 98 Missouri Crime Lab Upgrade Program (MCLUP) $37,000.00

Section 2. That the following amount is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Police Grants Fund to the following account in the Police Grants Fund:

99-239-021-2796-E 98 MCLUP $37,000.00

Section 3. That this ordinance is recognized as an emergency ordinance and becomes effective immediately upon passage.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
