ORDINANCE NO. 110974

 

 

Authorizing the Director of General Services to enter into a lease agreement with the Black Economic Union of Greater Kansas City, Inc., in the amount of $44,817.20, for office space located at 1601 E. 18th Street, Suite 209 in Kansas City, Missouri.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of General Services is authorized to execute a five month lease agreement with the Black Economic Union of Greater Kansas City, Inc., beginning December 1, 2011, for office space located at 1601 E. 18th Street, Suite 209, Kansas City, Missouri, at a term rate of $44,817.20 or $8,963.44 monthly, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 12-2600-545310-B. A copy of the lease agreement is on file with the Director of General Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
