Amending Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City,
Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding a new section
to be known as Section 65.010A2638, rezoning an area of approximately 12.3
acres generally located on the west side of N. Baughman Road at N.W. 79th
Terrace from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family
Dwellings). (11761-P)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of
Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby
amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2638, rezoning
an area of approximately 12.3 acres generally located on the west side of N.
Baughman Road at N.W. 79th Terrace from District RA (Agricultural) to District
R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:
Section 65.010A2638. That an area legally described
as:
A tract of land being part of the Fractional
Northwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City,
Platte County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Beginning
at the northeast corner of said Fractional Northwest Quarter (Platte County);
thence South 89 21'59" West, along the north line of said Fractional
Northwest Quarter, 776.76 feet to the west line of said Fractional
Northwest Quarter; thence South 00 16'51" West, along said west line,
695.90 feet; thence North 89 21'59" East and parallel to said north
line, 436.00 feet; thence North 85 10'00" East, 341.33 feet to the
east line of the Fractional Northwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 51,
Range 33 (Platte County); thence North 00 20'38" East, along said
east line, 670.92 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 12.30 acres,
more or less.
is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to
District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked
Section 65.010A2638, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which
is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a
part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 65.010 thereof.
Section B. That the Council finds and declares that
before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public
notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
