ORDINANCE NO. 900650

 

Accepting Missouri Warranty Deeds from Ann Belmont Scopel and Max and Harriett Swade conveying to the City certain lands generally located at 1410 Central and 311 West 14th Street in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, for public use purposes as a part of the Bartle Hall expansion project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a Missouri Warranty Deed from Ann Belmont Scopel conveying to the City property generally located at 1410 Central in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, which is filed for record in the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City as Instrument No. K942892 in Book K2062 at Page 2265 is hereby accepted for public use purposes as a part of the Bartle Hall expansion project. Said land is more specifically described as:

 

All of the South Fifty (50) feet of Lots One (1), Two (2) and Three (3) and the South Fifty (50) feet of the East Twenty-two (22) feet of Lot Four (4), Block "I", SECOND RESURVEY OF REID'S ADDITION, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

Subject to an easement for right of way for State Highway Interstate Route 35, taken and condemned by the State of Missouri in Case No. 665484, filed March 25, 1965, in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, and further evidenced by the instrument filed under Document No. K-37809, in Book K87 at Page 1519, over the South 35 feet of the premises in question.

 

Section 2. That a Missouri Warranty Deed from Max Swade and Harriett Swade conveying to the City property generally located at 311 West 14th Street in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, which is filed for record in the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City as Instrument No. K941188 in Book K2059 at Page 477 is hereby accepted for public use purposes as a part of the Bartle Hall expansion project. Said land is more specifically described as:

 

The South 54.5 feet of the North 85 feet of Lots 5, 6 and 7, Block 1, SECOND RESURVEY OF REID'S ADDITION, a subdivision in the City of Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. Subject to restrictions, reservations, easements and covenants, if any, of record.

 

Section 3. That the City Clerk is directed to cause this Ordinance to be filed for record in the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City as evidence of the acceptance of these deeds by the City for public use purposes.
