ORDINANCE NO. 010566

 

Authorizing execution of a $411,250.00 Cooperative Agreement with the Kansas City, Missouri School District for catering services for the Summer Food Service Program with options to renew for two additional one year periods; directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices; and designating an effective date.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, a Cooperative Agreement with the Kansas City, Missouri School District in the amount of $411,250.00 for catering services for the Summer Food Service Program, a USDA funded program, with options to renew for two additional one year periods, to be paid from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 02-100-057-2090-B. A copy of the Cooperative Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy of the Cooperative Agreement, together with a copy of this ordinance, in the office of the Secretary of the State of Missouri and in the Department of Records for Jackson County, Missouri.

 

Section 3. That this ordinance will be effective on May 1, 2001.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
