ORDINANCE NO. 010411

 

Authorizing a $48,040.00 agreement with Upper Midwest Conservation Association for conservation treatment services for five murals located at Municipal Auditorium and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend said funds for the project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the work of providing conservation treatment for the murals, The Four Seasons and Mnemosyne and Muses, located at the Municipal Auditorium, Kansas City, Missouri, is hereby provided for and authorized.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into a technical services agreement with the Upper Midwest Conservation Association, in the not to exceed amount of $48,040.00 for conservation treatment services for five murals located at Municipal Auditorium. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the Director of Public Works and is incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum not to exceed $48,040.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 01-100-089-7726-T for the aforementioned agreement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
