ORDINANCE NO. 900649
Approving a $61,890.00 contract with Stanger Industries
for boiler replacements at Turkey Creek Pump Station and the Water Intake
Building; and authorizing expenditure of $71,000.00 in funding therefor.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That a $61,890.00 contract between the
City of Kansas City, Missouri, through its Director of Water and Pollution
Control, and Stanger Industries for boiler replacements at Turkey Creek Pump
Station and the Water Intake Building are hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That the Director of Water and Pollution
Control is hereby authorized to expend up to the sum of $71,000.00 from funds
previously appropriated to Account No. 801-80604-B to satisfy the cost of this
contract, including changes deemed necessary.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise
unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing
expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in
the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each
sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
