ORDINANCE NO. 900429

 

Amending Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2342, rezoning an area of 0.80 acre on the north side of Independence Boulevard from Wabash Avenue eastward 275 feet from District C-2 (Local Retail Business) to District R-4 (Low Apartment). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2342, rezoning an area of 0.80 acre on the north side of Independence Boulevard from Wabash Avenue eastward 275 feet from District C-2 (local retail business) to District R-4 (low apartment), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 65.010A2342. That an area legally described as:

 

SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 Section 33-50-33, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. Beginning at the intersection of the North line of Independence Boulevard as now established, with the east line of Wabash as now established, thence North on the East line of Wabash 329 feet, thence East parallel to the North line of Independence Boulevard, as now established. 183.56 feet thence North parallel to the East line of Wabash 225 feet to the South line of an alley thence East on said line of said alley 105.94 feet thence South parallel to the East line of Wabash as now established, 238.5 feet thence East parallel to the North line of Independence Boulevard, as now established, 3.33 feet to the center of a stonewall, thence Southerly to a point in the North line of Independence Boulevard, 288.47 feet East the East line of Wabash, thence West to the point of beginning.

 

 

is hereby rezoned from District C-2 (local retail business) to District R-4 (low apartment), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 65.010A2342, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 65.010 thereof.

 

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
