ORDINANCE NO. 031015

Authorizing the Director of Environmental Management to enter into an $225,000.00 First Amendment with Missouri Organic Recycling, Inc. to provide grinding, hauling and management at the two leaves and brush drop-off sites.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to enter into and execute a First Amendment with Missouri Organic Recycling, Inc., for site management at two leaves and brush drop-off sites and to expend an amount not to exceed $225,000.00 for a total contract amount of $632,000.00, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 04-100-085-2303-B. The amendment shall substantially conform to the copy which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
