ORDINANCE NO. 051460

 

Authorizing execution of a Rental Car Concession Agreement with the Hertz Corporation at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a Rental Car Concession Agreement with the Hertz Corporation for the right to provide and conduct rental car services to the traveling public at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport for a term beginning on November 1, 2005 and continuing until the earlier of the Date of Beneficial Occupancy (DBO) of the Kansas City International Airport centralized rental car facility or October 31, 2007. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That additional revenue in the sum of $8,250.00 is hereby estimated in the following account of the KCI Airports Fund, No. 8300:

 

06-8300-620000-468630 Rental Car Concession Fees $8,250.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
