ORDINANCE NO. 900706

 

Authorizing a contract with Lippert Air Conditioning & Heating for air conditioning and heating rehabilitation at KCI Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby

authorized to execute a contract for Project No. 641-Rehabilitate HVAC for Field Maintenance, ARFF and ACC Facilities at Kansas City International Airport. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby

authorized to expend the following amounts from funds heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airports Fund (819-90343-T) for work to be performed under the aforesaid contract:

 

$227,223.00 for construction

$ 22,000.00 for contingent obligations

 

Section 3. That the terms, conditions, privileges and

obligations as set forth in said contract are hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise

unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
