ORDINANCE NO. 910373

 

Approving the preliminary plat of Williams Court on a 1.2 acre tract of land located at the southeast corner of 42nd Street and The Paseo. (64977)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the preliminary plat of Williams Court on a 1.2 acre tract of land located at the southeast corner of 42nd Street and The Paseo, and more specifically described as follows:

 

All of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, except that part of said premises now in The Paseo, Paseo Place, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

All of Lots 12, 13 and 14, Paseo Place, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

All that part of the southeast 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of Section 21, Township 49, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning on the east line of The Paseo at a point 66 2/3 feet south of the southwest corner of Lot 7, Paseo Place, a subdivision, thence east and parallel with the south line of said Lot 7, 115 feet; thence south parallel with the east line of The Paseo 33 1/3 feet, more or less, to a point 120 feet north of the north line of Lot 1, Llewellyn Heights Resurvey, a subdivision; thence west 115 feet to the east line of The Paseo; thence north 33 1/3 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Beginning on the east line of Paseo Boulevard 90 feet north of the northwest corner of Lot 1, Llewellyn Heights Resurvey, thence north 30 feet; thence east 115 feet; thence south 30 feet; thence west 115 feet to the point of beginning.

 

Beginning on the east line of Paseo Boulevard 60 feet north of the north line of Lot 1, Llewellyn Heights Resurvey, thence north 30 feet; thence east 115 feet; thence south 30 feet; thence west to the point of beginning. Section 21, Township 49, Range 33, situated in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

Beginning on the east right-of-way line of Paseo Boulevard and the south line of Lot 7, PASEO PLACE, a subdivision of record in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, thence East along the south line of Lot 7 for a distance of 115.00 feet; thence south and parallel to said east right-of-way line 66 2/3 feet; thence west and parallel to the south line of Lot 7 for a distance of 115.00 feet to said east right-of-way line; thence north along said right-of-way line for 66 2/3 feet.

 

is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:

 

1. That the developer secure the approval of the Board of Zoning Adjustment for a variance to lot widths for

proposed Lots 8 and 9.

 

2. That the developer cause the area to be platted and processed in accordance with Chapter 31, Code of General

Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as

the Subdivision Regulations.

 

3. That the developer pay money in lieu of parkland dedication in satisfaction of Section 31.32 in the amount

of $2,222.79.

 

4. That the developer construct and/or repair sidewalks on 42nd Street if necessary.

 

5. That the developer submit a storm drainage study to the City Engineer's Office.

 

A copy of said preliminary plat is on file in the office of the City Clerk under Document No. 910373, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed preliminary plat hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Subdivision Regulations have been given and had.
