RESOLUTION NO. 970222

Approving the appointment of Dr. Ellen Westdorp as trustee of the Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust.

WHEREAS, the trust indenture creating the Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust provides for trustees to be nominated by the Mayor and affirmed by the City Council; and

WHEREAS, two trustees of the Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust shall be members of the City Council, serving terms coincidental with their terms of office; and

WHEREAS, the remaining five trustees of the Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust serve three year terms, and until new trustees are named and affirmed; and

WHEREAS, the Council finds Dr. Ellen Westdorp is fully qualified to serve as trustee of the Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Council hereby approves the appointment of the following to the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust:
