ORDINANCE NO. 120060

 

 

Authorizing the Director of Water Services Department to enter into a renewal contract with Durkin Equipment Company, Inc., for Service/Maintenance for the Chlorine Feed Equipment and Atmospheric Instrumentation at the Water Treatment Plant; and authorizing the expenditure of approximately $156,615.00.

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, Contract No. 12017, with Durkin Equipment Company, Inc., for the Service/Maintenance for the Chlorine Feed Equipment and Atmospheric Instrumentation at the Water Treatment Plant located in Clay County.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to the sum of $156,615.00, from Account No. 12-8010-802110-B, Div of Supply Operations, to satisfy the cost of this contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
