ORDINANCE NO. 960247

 

Accepting and approving a $31,135.00 one year contract with the Missouri Department of Health for the City to provide support of a Public Health Specialist I position, to conduct assessment, enforcement and investigate activities related to immunizable diseases in the community.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. Accepting and approving a contract for the Immunization Program between the Kansas City, Missouri Health Department, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health, acting through its Director of Health, to provide support of a Public Health Specialist I position, to conduct assessment, enforcement and investigate activities related to immunizable diseases in the community, for a period of one year beginning January 1, 1996 to December 31, 1996, for which the State will provide funding in the amount of $31,135.00. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. __________________________________________________

 

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
