ORDINANCE NO. 110184
Accepting and approving a one
year $48,979.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Human
Services to conduct tuberculosis control activities in Kansas City, Missouri;
increasing revenue and appropriations in the amount of $9,405.00 in the
Governmental Grants Fund; and authorizing the Director to expend $16,326.00 for
the contract.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
a one-year contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting though
its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior
Services, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the Missouri
Department of Health and Senior Services will provide funding to conduct
tuberculosis control activities in Kansas City, Missouri for a period beginning
January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011, for an amount not to exceed
$48,979.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in
substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
Section 2. That
the revenue in the following account of the Governmental Grants Fund is hereby
increased by the following amount:
11-2480-500001-472790 Tuberculosis
Control Program $ 9,405.00
Section 3. That
the appropriation in the following account of the Governmental Grants Fund is
hereby increased by the following amount:
11-2480-505415-A Tuberculosis
Control Program $10,272.00
Section 4. That
the appropriation in the following account of the Governmental Grants Fund is
hereby decreased by the following amount:
11-2480-505415-B Tuberculosis
Control Program $ 867.00
Section 5. That
the Director of Health is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $16,326.00
from funds appropriated to Account No. 11-2480-505415 for the aforesaid
contract.

I hereby certify that
there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation
to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance,
otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which
payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
