RESOLUTION NO. 150648

Amending the Standing Rules of the City Council by repealing Rule 10.01 entitled Standing Committees and enacting a new Rule 10.01 entitled Standing Committees, and assigning current ordinances to the appropriate committees, to reflect the Council committee organization beginning August 1, 2015.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That Standing Rules of the City Council is amended by repealing Rule 10.01 and enacting a new Rule 10.01 to read as follows:

Rule 10.01. Standing Committees.

The Standing Committees of the Council shall be:

a)                  Finance & Governance

b)                  Transportation & Infrastructure

c)                  Planning, Zoning & Economic Development

d)                 Neighborhoods & Public Safety

e)                  Ethics & Legal Review

f)                   Legislative

g)                  Airport

h)                  Housing

i)                    Small Business, Entrepreneurship, & Jobs

j)                    Youth Development

Section 2. That matters currently assigned to the following committees will be placed in the designated committees:
