Designating 12th Street from the west line of Benton Boulevard to the east line of Broadway Boulevard as an addition to the parks and boulevard system and authorizing its transfer from the Public Works Department to the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners.

WHEREAS, the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 21353 February 5, 1991, requesting that 12th Street between Broadway Boulevard and Benton Boulevard be part of the parks and boulevard system; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to reassign to the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners certain property interests now assigned to the Public Works Department known as 12th Street from the east line of Broadway to the west line of Benton Boulevard, said property be part of the parks and boulevard system forever in accordance with Article III, Section 58 of the Charter of Kansas City, Missouri.

Section 2. That trucks may be allowed on this portion of the boulevard system.
