Rezoning an area of approximately 8.5 acres generally
bounded on the west by N. Winan Avenue and a line extending one quarter mile
west of N. Winan Avenue, by Missouri Route 92 and the corporate limits of
Kansas City on the north, by the prolongation of a line located approximately
one mile north of and parallel to N.W. 128th Street on the south, and on the
east by a line generally located 2,000 feet east of N.W. Interurban Road from
District GP-1 to District GP-7. (12175-GP-1)
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0692, rezoning an area of approximately 8.5 acres
generally bounded on the west by N. Winan Avenue and a line extending one
quarter mile west of N. Winan Avenue, by Missouri Route 92 and the corporate
limits of Kansas City on the north, by the prolongation of a line located
approximately one mile north of and parallel to N.W. 128th Street on the south,
and on the east by a line generally located 2,000 feet east of N.W. Interurban
Road from District GP-1 (General Industry) to District GP-7 (Agricultural and
Low Density Residential), said section to read as follows:
Section 80-11A0692. That an area
legally described as:
A tract of land in part of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 52, Range 34, in Kansas City, Platte
County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the center of said
Section 2; then west along the north line of said Quarter Section, 100 feet for
a true point of beginning; then south parallel to the east line of said Quarter
Section, 750 feet; then west parallel to the north line of said Quarter
Section, 350 feet; then north parallel to the east line of said Quarter
Section, 700 feet; then west along a line parallel to and 50 feet south of the
north line of said Quarter Section, 2168 feet more or less to a point on the
east right of way line of Winan Road; then north along said right of way line,
50 feet to a point on the north line of said Quarter Section; then east along
the north line of said Quarter Section, 2518 feet more or less to the point of
beginning. This tract contains 8.5 acres more or less.
is hereby rezoned from District
GP-1 (General Industry) to District GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density
Residential), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0692, which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a
part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and
as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section C. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
