a Cooperative Agreement between Kansas City and Jackson County, Missouri
providing for the relocation and replacement of portions of the existing water
distribution facilities in connection with the pending Lydia Bridge Replacement
Project; authorizing expenditure of funding; and directing the City Clerk to
record the Agreement.
IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on
behalf of Kansas City, a Cooperative Agreement between Kansas City and Jackson
County, Missouri providing for the relocation and replacement of portions of
the existing water distribution facilities in connection with the pending Lydia
Bridge Replacement project. A copy of the Agreement is attached hereto and
made a part hereof by reference.
2. That the Director of Water Services is further authorized to expend up to
the sum of $125,000.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No.
01-801-080-7701-T Water Main Relocations to satisfy the Citys portion of the
costs associated with this work.
3. That upon the effective date of said Agreement, the City Clerk is directed
to cause a copy of this ordinance and of the attached Agreement to be recorded
in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri and with
the Secretary of State of Missouri, in accordance with Section 70.300, RSMo.

of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a
cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the
fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation
as to form and legality:
