Authorizing execution of a Personal Services Contract with Patti Banks for the provision of management services for the implementation of the FOCUS Northland Plan for a period of one year for $45,000.00 plus $3,443.00 in FICA payments.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute a Personal Services Contract with Patti Banks, in the amount of $45,000.00 plus $3,443.00 in FICA payments, for management of the implementation of the FOCUS Northland Plan to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 00-100-064-2350-B, Northland Planning. A copy of the Personal Services Contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
