ORDINANCE NO. 041166

Releasing a utility easement previously retained in vacated alley by Ordinance No. 011261, on January 24, 2002, and recorded on April 4, 2002, as Document No. 2002K0019972, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri and hereby directing the city clerk to record such release.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That a utility easement retained in a previously vacated alley is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns, and that the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit claim deed to the present owners, their heirs and assigns, as further evidence thereof.

Section 2. That the utility easement is located in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and more completely described as follows:

The east-west alley next north of 18th Street from the east line of Tract 1, Parade Plaza, Resurvey to the east line of Highland Avenue and from the west line of Highland Avenue to the east line of Vine Street and from the west line of Vine Street to the east line of the Paseo; the north-south alley next east of Highland Avenue from the south line of 17th Terrace to the north line of the aforesaid east-west alley and the north-south alley next west of Vine Street from the south line of 17th Terrace to the north line of the aforesaid east-west alley.

Section 3. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, in Kansas City.
