ORDINANCE NO. 920393

 

Amending Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2437, rezoning an area generally bounded by I-435 on the west, N. Manchester Avenue on the east, N.E. 55th Street on the south and the Claycomo city limits on the north from Districts CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) and R-3 (Low Density, Low Apartments) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2437, rezoning an area generally bounded by I-435 on the west, N. Manchester Avenue on the east, N.E. 55th Street on the south and the Claycomo city limits on the north from Districts CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) and R-3 (Low Density, Low Apartments) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 65.010A2437. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the SW 1/4 Section 27, Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri described as follows: Beginning at the SW corner of Section 27; thence E along the section line 377.43 feet to the true point of beginning; thence N 246.8 feet parallel to the N/S section line; thence NE 103.8 feet at an angle of 165 57'46" from S; thence N 100 feet parallel to the N/S section line; thence N/W 103.8 at an angle of 165 57'46" from S; thence N 775 feet parallel to the N/S section line; thence E 1108.57 feet parallel to the E/W section line; thence S 264 feet parallel to the N/S section line; thence W 165 feet parallel to the E/W section line; thence S 1056 feet along the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 section line; thence W 943.57 feet to the true point of beginning. All of the above land contains 30.28 acres.

 

is hereby rezoned from Districts CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) and R-3 (Low Density, Low Apartments) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 65.010A2437, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 65.010 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
