ORDINANCE NO. 160721

Repealing Ordinance No. 160291 entitled “Approving a contract with Modest Miles Ministry in the amount of $65,000.00 for an event from the Neighborhoods Tourist Development Fund.”

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 160291 was enacted by the City Council on April 14, 2016; and

WHEREAS, this ordinance committed $65,000.00 to Modest Miles Ministry; and

WHEREAS, a contract was never entered into by the City and Modest Miles Ministry for an event; and

WHEREAS, by repealing Ordinance No. 160291 this money will be available for redistribution from the Neighborhoods Tourist Development Fund for another event selected by the Neighborhoods Tourist Development Fund Committee; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That Ordinance No. 160291 is repealed.
