Authorizing a $154,508.56 Third
Amendment to Agreement No. 980383 with Wilson & Company, Inc. Engineers
& Architects for additional engineering services for the North Oak
Trafficway Improvements from 96th to 111th Street; authorizing the City Manager
to expend $154,508.56 for the project; and designating requisitioning
authority.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on
behalf of the City, a $154,508.56 Third Amendment to Agreement No. 980383 with
Wilson & Company, Inc. Engineers & Architects, essentially in the form
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for additional
engineering services to include sound wall design, wetland mitigation design,
and streetlight design for the North Oak Trafficway Improvements from 96th to
111th Street, all in Clay County, Missouri, Council District No. 2, Project No.
89008000, to be completed in three phases:
Phase I: Preliminary
Design Services
Phase II: Final
Design Services
Phase IIA: Additional
Design Services
Phase III: Construction
Observation
Phase IIA will be performed under
this Third Amendment.
Section 2. That
the City Manager is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $154,508.56 from
funds previously appropriated to Account No. 06-3090-897231-B for the aforesaid
Third Amendment to Agreement No. 980383.
Section 3. That
the City Manager is hereby designated requisitioning authority for Account No.
06-3090-897231.

I hereby certify
that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the
appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash
balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund
from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby
incurred.
