ORDINANCE NO. 050639

 

Accepting a Special Warranty Deed from Midwest Realty Corporation, a Missouri Corporation, conveying land to the City of Kansas City Missouri, for certain property in Jackson County, Missouri for the Fire Department and directing the City Clerk to file same.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Council hereby accepts the Special Warranty Deed conveying property to the City of Kansas City, Missouri and recorded as Document No. 2005K0021183 in the office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City for the Fire Department, legally described as follows:

 

All that part of Lot 2, Westport Trail Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:

 

Beginning at the most Southerly Southeast corner of said Lot 2; thence North 87o1147 West along the South line of said Lot 2, said line also being the North right-of-way line of 43rd Street as dedicated by said subdivision, 202.37 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the Northeast having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Northwesterly 23.51 feet along said curve through a central angle of 89 degrees 48 minutes 58 seconds to a point on the West line of said Lot 2, also being the East right-of-way line of Bridger Road, as dedicated by said subdivision; thence North 02 o3711 East along said West line of Lot 2 and said East right-of-way line, 221.44 feet; thence South 87 o2050 East 147.26 feet to a point on the most Westerly East line of said Lot 2; thence South 02 o4711 West, along said East line 35.36 feet to a jog in said Lot 2; thence South 87 o1408 East, 198.06 feet, along said jog, to a point on the East line of said Lot 2, said point also being the West right-of-way line of Washington Street; thence South 02 o3146 West along the East line of said Lot 2 and said West right-of-way line, 96.24 feet to the most Northerly South line of said Lot 2; thence North 87 o2149 West along said South line 128.12 feet to a jog in said Lot 2; thence South 02 o3337 West along said jog 104.94 feet to the point of beginning.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record a copy of this ordinance in the office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described property by the City for public purposes.
