ORDINANCE NO. 910305

 

Authorizing execution of the First Supplement to Agreement No. 890563 with Johnson, Brickell, Mulcahy and Associates, Inc. relating to engineering services in connection with improvements at Red Bridge and Blue River Road.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY;

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute on behalf of Kansas City a First Supplement to Agreement No. 890563, between Johnson, Brickell, Mulcahy and Associates, Inc. and Kansas City, Missouri, relating to engineering services in connection with intersection improvements at Red Bridge Road and Blue River Road, Phase B, construction observation, in Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 6, Project No. 1206. The said Agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $8,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 9-40791-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid First Supplement to Agreement No. 890563, approved by Ordinance No. 64424.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
