ORDINANCE NO. 921063

 

Authorizing a contract in the amount of $46,000.00 with Schlup, Becker and Brennan for services relating to engineering of a storm water improvement for White Oak Creek between Stark and Kentucky Avenues.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute on behalf of Kansas City, an agreement between Schlup, Becker and Brennan and Kansas City, Missouri, relating to engineering services in connection with the storm water improvement of White Oak Creek between approximately 150 feet west of Stark Avenue and 180 feet east of Kentucky Avenue to be completed in three phases:

 

Phase 1: Preliminary design Phase 2: Final design Phase 3: Construction observation

 

in Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 6, Project No. 3396. The said agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $46,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 309-089-6500T as and for consideration in the aforesaid agreement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
