ORDINANCE NO. 960237

 

Authorizing a $24,239,101.00 contract with J.E. Dunn Construction Company for Project No. 615 - Terminal C Parking Structure at Kansas City International Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $26,739,101.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a $24,239,101.00 contract for Project No. 615 - Terminal C Parking Structure at Kansas City International Airport with J.E. Dunn Construction Company. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend the following amounts heretofore appropriated to the General Improvement Airport Construction Fund, Series 1994B, 95-831-062-8220-T1106, for work to be performed under the aforesaid contract:

 

$24,239,101.00 Construction

$ 2,500,000.00 Contingent Obligations

 

Section 3. That upon completion of the final costs of this project, the Director of Finance is hereby directed to return the unexpended portion of this appropriation to the Unappropriated Fund Balance from which it was derived.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
