Description: Principal advisory arm of the city in matters of design and visual elements of public buildings and privately owned structures encroaching on public property. APPOINTMENT PROCESS: Mayor appoints 6 voting members and non-specified number of advisory members. The Mayor, President of the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners, and the Chair of the City Plan Commission or their appointees are all ex-officio members of the Commission. NUMBER OF CITY MEMBERS: 6 TERM: 3 years
